The visitors to see the monkeys in their wild habitat are a mix of both domestic and overseas. The monkeys who are known to be quite notorious in their behaviour stealing food and other items are pampered by the visitors with all sorts of food items bought from the local stands. Visitors are also warned of aggressive behaviour of some dominant monkeys that would engage in thievery from the onlookers and to avoid wearing excessive jewellery or carrying objects such as cameras, sun glasses and pens. These monkeys are famously known as sacred monkeys in the deep sacred Sangeh Forest of Bali. Anantara Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa is a reputed Bali Beach Resort Uluwatu has to offer for those visiting to see the sacred monkeys in Sangeh forest.
