Due to the impacts of COVID-19, the industry of tourism in the ancient city of Hoi An in Vietnam faced a gloomy period with very significantly fewer tourist arrivals. But as per the latest reports, the industry now shows signs of recovery as the city did welcome more than 3000 tourists recently from Europe and North America.
As 90% of overnight visitors in almost every Hoi An hotel are foreigners, there is a very special focus on maintaining the performance of accommodation venues and restaurants, and the authorities have already started a regular inspection program with regards to this. Popular hotels such as Anantara Hoi An Resort have taken very proactive measures to ensure the safety of their visitors and to make this destination a tourism-friendly one once again.
