How AI is Powering Dubai’s Pursuit of Happiness – Yet Another Amazing Project

Dubai is a city that strives to be on top and ahead of the world with each and every project undertaken. Lately, the city also wants to be ‘the happiest city on earth’. The Director-General of Smart Dubai Office, Her Excellency Aisha Bint Butti Bin Bishr stated that they plan on achieving this with artificial intelligence.

The research carried out by the team at Smart Dubai showed that many people were not satisfied when dealing with government-related work. Therefore, Dubai is now focused on improving government services through AI. In October 2017, the UAE launched its first Strategy for artificial intelligence. They aim to reduce accidents, minimize diseases and increase productivity, all with AI. Dubai is a city where the tourism industry is booming mainly because of manmade attractions like Palm Jumeirah. Hotel facilities too are improving in resorts like Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort. AI will be an added feature to the tourism sector as well.
