Under the patronage of the Climate Change Secretariat, The Ministry of Mahaweli Development and Environment Sri Lanka and the University of Colombo Sri Lanka, the second International Conference on Climate Change was successfully held from the 15th to 16th February 2018 in Colombo. It is held under the theme “Climate change and global sustainability.” Those who were interested in events in Colombo based themselves in places such as Colombo Court Hotel & Spa to take part in this conference.
With the increased environmental degradation, global population and poverty alleviation, climate change has been one of the main challenges in the 21st century.
