The International Swan Boat Race 2015 was held on the 19th and 20th of December on the Chao Phraya River, Suan Luang Rama VIII Park, Bangkok with swan boat athletes from across Thailand as well as 16 international teams who competed in the championships that was hosted by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) together with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and the Rowing and Canoeing Association of Thailand. The internationally renowned championship is held to celebrate the majestic Chao Phraya River and the much admired Thai way of waterfront life. The Swan boat race represents a traditional way of life of the locals connecting canoeing with the Chao Phraya River passed down from generation to generation with pride and is an integral part of the livelihood of the locals.
