ITU World Triathlon Series coming to Abu Dhabi in March

The famous ITU World Triathlon Series is scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi on 6th & 7th March 2015. The circuit is contested by some of the Olympic competitors. Over 900 athletes have registered and those who wish to take part have the opportunity to register. The series features a swim, cycle and run on the 7th and the race that will be held in Abu Dhabi will be the first of the 10 races that are scheduled to take place before the finals in Chicago. The entree fees for the triathlon ranges from Dh450 for individuals to Dh600 for teams. The series will be held at the Abu Dhabi Sailing and Yacht Club and travellers seeking for accommodation could consider staying at one of the 5 star hotels Abu Dhabi offers such as Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa by Anantara that is in the vicinity of the event venue.
