Koh Phangan and Koh Samui Reopen with New Guidelines – Safety: the number 1 priority!

Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, and Koh Tao islands reopened their borders to international travellers in July 2021. The new guidelines required the travellers to adhere to a 3-full day mandatory quarantine period followed by a 4-day sealed routes rule. Every hotel in Koh Phangan the likes of Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas did their best to ensure the health and safety of their guests. Although some bars and spas had violated health guidelines, the overall conditions are reported to be satisfactory so far.

Earlier, those who come from high-risk zones such as Bangkok (if not vaccinated fully) only needed to get a rapid COVID 19 test (500 baht). But, the officials have now decided to make it compulsory for all such tourists to undergo RT-PCR tests which costs 5000 baht each.
