The newest album by duo Kristin Berardi and James Sherlock is set to launch on Saturday the 8th of November in Brisbane. Titled “Guess I’ll hang my tears out”, this jazz album was recorded with Mal Stanley of ABC Radio and will be launched at the Visy Theatre at the Brisbane Powerhouse. Local artist, Emily Nelson is credited with artwork for the album which is the third such collaboration by these two artistes.
“Guess I’ll hang my tears out” is the follow-up to their successful outing titled “If you were there” which garnered critical acclaim and won the 2010 National Jazz Bell Award for The Best Jazz Vocal Album. Amongst their other highlights was the chance to perform at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2007 with the likes of greats such as George Benson. Fans planning to attend the CD launch and looking for centrally located Brisbane CBD accommodation can consider staying at Oaks Mews in the inner-city suburbs.
