Malaysia pitches new concept at ITB Berlin

Malaysia presented three new brochures at ITB Berlin, showcasing the country’s diverse attractions for tourists. The brochures cover city tours in Kuala Lumpur, sports and adventure activities in natural surroundings, and beautiful beaches with marine wildlife. This marked Malaysia’s 50th participation in the travel trade show, and the event was attended by representatives from the Malaysian Ministry of Tourism and Tourism Malaysia.

The brochures, translated into German, were handed over to Malaysia’s ambassador to Germany in Berlin. Kuala Lumpur, the capital city, has a dedicated brochure showcasing its shopping malls, museums, parks, restaurants, and cultural scene, along with its impressive skyline featuring some of the world’s tallest skyscrapers. The brochures reflect the country’s slogan, “Malaysia – Truly Asia,” and aim to attract tourists from all over the world to experience Malaysia’s diverse attractions.

In addition to the presentation of the brochures, Malaysia also showcased a five-minute image film at ITB Berlin, which created an impressive atmosphere. The country hopes to increase tourism numbers, particularly from Europe, in 2023. They’re planning to promote beautiful sites and attractions as well as resorts in Langkawi such as the Pelangi Resort. The presentation at the travel trade show marked Malaysia’s 50th participation in the event and was attended by representatives from the Malaysian Ministry of Tourism and Tourism Malaysia. The three new brochures feature the country’s diverse attractions, including the city of Kuala Lumpur, the beautiful beaches of Langkawi, Penang, Pangkor, and Terengganu, and adventurous activities such as mountain climbing, river rafting, and cave exploration.
