The republic of Maldives ceremoniously celebrated its 53rd Independence Day on the 26th of July 2018. The occasion commemorates the day on which the nation picked up autonomy form the reign of British. The whole country cherishes the day with a plethora of events that include parades, exhibitions and many other events. The country’s president along with congressmen and delegates also partook in the events to grace occasion on the historical day.
The main attraction of the day was the walk past that was organized by the National Security Service and the National Cadet Corps. The parade also included perfectly orchestrated drills and bores performed by the country’s youth and Kids from a number of universities and schools around the islands.
