The popular cycling event, Tour Down Under, will have a new final stage with Willunga Hill set to play host to the thrilling race finale. This change was revealed by popular Australian national news service organisation, ABC in a recent online news segment; it went on to elaborate that the change in location for the final race stage was partly due to the fact that there are many ongoing construction projects in the city which usually hosts the Adelaide street circuit finish.
According to the current schedule, Stage 1 of the 2019 edition of the Tour Down Under is from North Adelaide to Port Adelaide. Other stages include Norwood to Angaston (Stage 2) and Glenelg to Strathalbyn (Stage 5). Those looking to catch parts of the race can consider Glenelg holiday accommodation in the area such as Oaks Liberty Towers. The final stage is from McLaren Vale to Willunga Hill (Stage 6) and will feature what is expected to be an exciting hill climb.
