Maldives COVID-19 Travel Safety Measures

Here’s What You Need to Know

International tourism has taken off in the Maldives with its reinstatement of commercial flights and visa-on-arrival services. However, each tourist and short-term visitor must be able to produce a negative PCR test for COVID-19, conducted within a maximum of four days (96 hours). Those who are eligible to arrive at the Maldives are requested to fill out a health declaration form 24 hours before their departure to the Maldives and complete an immigration arrival card as well. Travellers who are arriving at the Maldives to spend their vacation at a property such as Kuramathi Maldives or possibly at one of the Maldives villas are advised to stay only at that particular property until their departure.

Tourists can look forward to health screenings and temperature check conveniently in place on their arrival and those who display symptoms will be requested to take a PCR test at their own cost.
