A programme that is based on promoting and conserving coastal ecosystems, Mangroves For the Future (MFF) is getting together with the Maldivian National University and the Marine Research Centre in order to host a Maldives Marine Science Symposium this year. The symposium is scheduled to take place in September 2015 and visitors planning to stay at some of the best Maldives resorts the country has to offer during this time can consider Chaaya Island Dhonveli.
The Maldives Marine Science Symposium will focus on sharing ideas by scientists and other individuals who are working in industries such as fisheries and tourism, looking at practical solutions to problems and challenges. The symposium will also look to highlight and see how the private sector can get involved, while also giving individuals, organisations and all stakeholders a platform in which to share and discuss viewpoints, ideas and sustainable solutions.
