An event that will highlight a diverse array of artistic talent, both local and international, the Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA) will provide visitors with a unique chance to enjoy different cultural perspectives from around the world. The main festival which was preceded by The O.P.E.N., which was a nearly month long pre-festival event, is scheduled to take place from 6th August to 20th September, 2015. Performances will be held at numerous venues across the city including the LASALLE College of the Arts, the Drama Centre Theatre at the National Library, Bukit Brown Cemetery, the School of the Arts (SOTA) and Bayfront Avenue at Marina Bay. Those wishing to attend shows and in search of luxury hotels in Singapore that are within easy reach of several of these venues can consider Sheraton Towers Singapore. The theme for the 2015 edition of the Singapore International Festival of Arts will be “POST-Empires”, while Singapore artist, Ong Keng Sen will be the festival director.
