According to the Minister of Tourism in Maldives, the islands now see the number of Indian travellers replacing the number of Russian travellers.
Stats show that the number of Indian travellers would amount to about 23% of the total tourist arrivals in the Maldives. Many a Maldives beach resort the likes of Baros Maldives have seen a hike in occupancy rates of Indian guests.
