Medicine with Altitude Conference in Canada
A Focus on Rural Health
A conference that brings together medical specialists and practitioners, as well as ED doctors and rural generalists, the upcoming Medicine with Altitude Conference, will be held early next year in Canada. It is scheduled to take place from 5th to 11th January 2020 at the Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre and will focus on the promotion of rural health. The event at this Whistler ski resort will be held without sponsorship from the pharmaceutical industry, with delegates meeting their own costs.
The Medicine with Altitude Conference is always hosted at a venue which is set amidst mountain landscapes, to offer that ideal getaway away from “distractions” and schedules. Amongst the topics expected to be covered at the first event of 2020 will be orthopaedic emergencies, breast pathology, babies in the ED and mental health in the outback. Following the Canada conference, the next edition will take place in Nozawa Onsen, Japan from 19th to 25th January.
