Minor Hotels is set to open a new property under its Avani brand in the Maldives soon; named Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort, it’s expected to launch on 1st April 2023 and will be in the Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. It will join the growing list of properties of Avani Hotels & Resorts and will provide unique experiences in this part of the country known for its rich marine biodiversity. This resort will be the sixth property of Minor Hotels in Maldives, while it will be the first new opening in the Baa Atoll for more than three years. It will have 176 overwater and beach villas as well as pavilions and studios, diverse dining options, a holistic spa and experiences for families and couples. Other highlights here include a 2.6 km lagoon with an array of marine and coral life and the chance to go snorkelling amidst manta rays in Hanifaru Bay.
