New Airline Beond Launches Flights to the Maldives – Luxury Travel Taken to New Heights

One of the newest airlines to take to the skies, Beond which is based in the Maldives began operations at the end of 2023, providing a luxury travel experience to the nation’s capital, Male. The company which bills itself as the first premium leisure airline in the world commenced services on 15th November last year with a flight from Munich to Maldives that included a stopover in Dubai in between. It also offers connections to Zurich and Riyadh while this January, it announced that Bangkok will be added to its routes from 7th July 2024.

Currently, the Airbus A319 that is used for flights has been configured with 44 business class, lie-flat seats that provide more space and comfort for passengers. According to the company, it plans to increase its fleet which will include the Airbus A321 aircraft as it looks to grow its network to 60 destinations globally over the next five years. Passengers on these premier flights can continue the luxurious travel experience during their stay in the Maldives; beach villa and overwater villa options on private island resorts such as OBLU SELECT Sangeli make the ideal choice for such travellers looking to enjoy refined comforts on a coastal escape.
