In September this year, the Kyoto City Tourism Association revealed two new guided tours conducted in English, catered for foreigners. Now on offer, the tours depart from the Kyoto Station which is within easy reach of city centre accomodations like Park Hotel Kyoto which belongs to the Park Hotel Group. Those interested in experiencing some of the top things to do in Kyoto can take this tour which offers the option of either heading to the Fushimi Inari Shrine (Fushimi Inari Taisha) or the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest.

Both these sites are popular tourist attractions and the accompanying Kyoto City Visitor Hosts, who are certified professional guides, will help travellers get a deeper understanding of the rich culture and natural heritage of the city. These tours are currently priced at 5,000 yen per person and take two hours to complete, scheduled to take place daily at two timeslots, 9:30 am and 1:00 pm.
