In December 2020, 307 international flights (148- incoming and 159 departure) were canceled due to the new COVID-19 wave that arouse. Oman Air and other airlines are taking measures to facilitate travellers with flexible rebooking policies and other options.
Almost all the airlines have given time till 31st December 2021 for these travellers to reschedule their travel plans, and some airlines have arranged refunding options too. Oman luxury resorts the likes of Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort which operate with the best of health and safety precautions to avoid the COVID-19 risks, however, have stated that they are ready to welcome guests from all around the world once this wave is suppressed. They also believe that this will happen soon, thanks to all the precautionary measures the government has taken.
