Singapore is preparing to welcome more business travellers this year and is constructing a new facility for this; this is according to an online article published in January by Bloomberg. It highlighted that the country would begin a business travel lane for short-stay corporate travellers who will not have to quarantine. They will instead have to stay at Connnect@Changi being built as part of the Changi Airport; once completed in mid-2021, it’s expected to have over 300 meetings rooms and 1,300 guestrooms, while travellers will have to undergo COVID-19 tests on arrival and periodically after that.
Singapore already has bilateral agreements with nations like Germany, South Korea and Japan which facilitate easier business travel; those from Australia, China, Vietnam and New Zealand can enjoy quarantine-free leisure travel as well. Such travellers in search of the best luxury hotel in Singapore to stay at can consider properties like Grand Park City Hall which are ideal for both business and leisure.
