The Ride of Champions was held in Doha, Qatar in November 2017 and in order to honour the event, the cycling stars of the country, namely, Ali bin Towar al-Kuwari and Abdulla al-Hammadi took a ride on their bikes and explored Doha on two wheels. Conducted by Qatar Tourism Authority, this event was hosted by Qatar cyclists and funded by none other than the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
Doha luxury hotels the likes of Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels and others had avid cyclists staying there for the Ride of Champions that happened over the weekend. These two cyclists also participated in the Ride of Champions that happened on the 24th of November 2017, along with hundreds of cyclists who toured Doha with them.
