A special exhibition that highlights Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, the REEF exhibition got under this way this month in Townsville, Queensland. The exhibition which was opened on 11th December, 2015 by Marion Gaemers will run up to 14th February, 2016. The exhibition is being hosted at the Perc Tucker Regional Gallery and those interested in visiting and in search of nearby Townsville serviced apartments to base themselves at can consider Oaks M on Palmer. REEF will showcase a wide cross-section of works from different mediums, all connected with reefs showcasing both its beauty and the threats it faces. Among the featured artists are Tom Risley, Joanna Bone and Steffen Dam and those visiting can look forward to learning interesting facts about the reef as well. Also included in the exhibition are works from the National Gallery of Australia Collection and the City of Townsville Art Collection.
