Singapore has always been a safe and secure destination which is amongst the many reasons travellers around the world love going there year after year. The country’s position as a premier place for tourists was put in the spotlight yet again this year when Forbes Advisor announced Singapore as the world’s safest city for travellers. Second place went to Tokyo, while Toronto, Sydney and Zurich rounded out the top five respectively.
To garner the results, 60 international cities were analysed by Forbes Advisor which took seven parameters into account; apart from a travel safety rating, risk factors were assessed for health security, personal security, digital security, infrastructure security, crime and natural disasters. The assessment saw Singapore coming out on top and it also had the best travel safety rating from the State Department. Not surprisingly, when travellers search for destinations with hotel promotions, Singapore is always a top choice with accommodation providers like Grand Park City Hall remaining popular with those looking to enjoy the best of the city.
