Singapore is planning to soon begin to permit quarantine-free travel; this however will be only for those who have received the full dose of a COVID-19 vaccination. Such easing of restrictions will pertain to those countries or regions that Singapore has established specific travel corridors with; this comes as good news for Singaporeans eager to head to holiday destinations once more. The reason for such quarantine-free travel to be allowed is due to the nation’s impressive vaccination rate which is the region’s highest as well.
It will be hoped that this will also pave the way for cross-border travel whereby vaccinated travellers from other nations can holiday in the Lion City. It has certainly established itself as a safe destination with its stringent hygiene and health protocols; this encompasses hotels in Singapore city centre including properties near the Central Business District like Grand Park City Hall that have achieved ‘SG Clean’ certification ensuring safe stays.
