An event that attracted a wide cross-section of automobile enthusiasts and car owners, the Sirasa Autovision Motor Show 2016 took place in Colombo last month. This annual motor show was held from 26th to 28th February at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) and was in keeping with previous motor shows that showcased some of the latest car and bike models. The Sirasa Autovision Motor Show featured experts in the industry along with a line-up of automobiles that included luxury, racing and vintage cars, 4×4 vehicles and super bikes. Apart from the big-name brands in the automobile industry, the event also featured entertainment in the form of bike stunts and live music. The country has recently seen an influx of foreign vehicles hit the market though when it comes to car hire, Sri Lanka has options as well with companies such as Online Rent Car featuring the latest car models.
