South Korea Emerges as Second Tourism Source Market – “Imagine your Korea”

According to the news declared at the ASEAN-Korea Tourism Capacity Building Workshop on the 15th of September, visitors from Korea to Vietnam accounted for a year-on-year increase of 50% in the first eight months of 2017. With this figure, the Republic of Korea has transpired as Vietnam’s second tourism source market. Furthermore, Ngo Hoai Chung, Deputy Director General of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism has stated that “Vietnam has actively joined tourism events, fairs and road shows in the RoK as part of the efforts to boost tourism attraction to Vietnam.”
