Recent publications reveal that the US-based research group Coral Reef CPR has discovered that some regions in the Maldives have displayed an impressive resilience to high temperatures as opposed to other areas that have been subjected to stress. Widely famous as an ideal location to view some of the most beautiful coral reefs, Maldives is frequented by visitors from all over the world.
Those planning to enjoy an exotic vacation and catch a few glimpses of the coral reef in Maldives can consider accommodation options such as Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort that offers activities such as snorkelling and diving in the nearby famous dive points. The reports declare that Coral Reef CPR has surveyed about 80 different reefs in order to gain a profound understanding of the situation. The research has discovered that as opposed to the negative results yielded from the initial studies, some individual reef colonies produced vivid fluorescent pigments that protected the reefs from being subjected to bleaching.
