For the recently held WTM London 2019, Sri Lanka Tourism was named as the Premier Partner for the event in a move that helped the country boost promotions. This came at a timely moment since the country’s tourism and hospitality sectors are on the road to recovery following the tragic Easter day terrorist bombings. The Premier Partnership deal meant that the country’s ‘So Sri Lanka’ branding was given wider visibility to international travel trade professionals, influencers and journalists.
At WTM London 2019 (4th to 6th November), the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau was also engaged in actively promoting the country along with local resorts, hotels, tour operators and travel agencies. From staying at the best hotels in Galle including properties like Le Grand Galleto exploring the Cultural Triangle, travellers have much to look forward to and it’s hoped will continue to visit the island.
