Going back to that fateful Easter Sunday in April, Sri Lanka’s tourism was left at risk yet again! However, the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau refuses to let the tourism industry sink back into a slow pace. The steady stream of tourists that keep arriving in the country has managed to keep the industry running.

In order to assure that Sri Lanka is still a safe and secure tourist destination, the SLTPB has taken a measure involving the help of social media influencers. The SLTPB brought down a few influencers from countries like Italy and Japan on the 5th of May. The group travelled the country till the 19th of May for some inspiration about the top things to do in Sri Lanka. The bureau hopes to bring business back to travel agents like Nature Odyssey with their new strategy.
