Sri Lanka is now open to international travelers – Opening doors to the world once again!

Throughout November and December 2020, the Tourism Minister of Sri Lanka, together with the joint Tourism and Health Committee held discussions about reopening the country to international tourists. As a successful result of this, the country was reopened on the 21st of January 2021. Since the risk of the global pandemic is still in place, they will continue to follow all the health and safety regulations strictly, as per the reports.

Consequently, hotels in Kandy Sri Lanka the likes of Cinnamon Citadel Kandy will also likely receive international guests in the future. In addition to this,  the key attractions of the country will also be open for tourists.
