For tourists visiting Thailand now there’s something new to witness. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) recommends 12 hidden gems that tourists must see when they are in the region. It is introduced as part of the new ‘Discover Thainess’ campaign of TAT, which seeks to shed light on the country’s priceless treasures- the culture, society and people. This campaign emphasizes the significance of destinations such as Nakhon Si Thammarat, Chumphon, Trang, Chanthaburi, Trat, Ratchaburi and Samut Songkhram for tourists. These destinations are said to be home to numerous cultural attractions that are often overlooked. Travellers based at a Trang resort such as Anantara Sikao Thailand Resort & Spa should make it a point to visit some of these attractions.
