Emirates Increases Flights to Maldives

The beautiful Maldives is set to welcome a surge of tourists due to an increase in flight connections. If you are planning your dream Maldivian vacation at a luxury Maldives bungalow like the Anantara Veli Resort & Spa Maldives and wandering whether there’ll be a shortage in flight this festive season, rest your worries cause Emirates have increased their number of flights to Maldives. The extra flight service that commenced on the 1st of December, had flight EK656 depart from Dubai International Airport at 0210hrs, to arrive in Malé at 0715hrs. This added seven more inbound flights a week to the Maldives. The service operated with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in two class configuration, has seven flights a week, which adds 294 business class and 2,702 economy class seats each way per week.
