Thailand Tourism Market Valuation to Increase – Country Also Showcases at ITB Berlin 2023

Last year, in a report that focused on Thai tourism from Future Market Insights, it was revealed that the Thailand tourism market is expected to reach a valuation of 76.60 billion USD in 2032; this is a significant increase from the valuation of 57 billion USD in 2022. This was brought to light in December on the Travel Daily Media news website which also noted that Phuket was amongst the popular destinations for tourists; this island continues to draw travellers the world over and when it comes to safe luxury hotels, Phuket features some ideal options such as Anantara Layan Phuket Resort that provide unique experiences too.

To attract more tourists to the country, Thailand also made its presence felt at ITB Berlin 2023 which was held from 7th to 9th March 2023. The Tourism Authority of Thailand featured a delegation of 70 tourism suppliers and showcased the best of the country under the theme “Visit Thailand Year 2023: Amazing New Chapters”. Amongst the key aspects which were focused on were the “5Fs”, namely Festival, Food, Fashion, Film and Fight, while responsible and sustainable tourism was also highlighted.
