Thailand’s Tourism on Its Way to a Rapid Recovery

A Pleasant Surprise

Tourist arrivals in Thailand have seen a significant surge after the COVID-19 restrictions were completely lifted. The numbers have risen up to 3.12 million international tourists in the first 7 months. High inflation rates in the global economic crisis and increased travel costs have challenged the arrivals in many ways, however, Thailand has become a prominent destination for those who are looking for a unique, memorable vacation experience.

Almost every boutique hotel in Bangkok is experiencing more bookings amidst all the challenges, including the Maitria Rama 9 Hotel which is located close to the centre of the city. India, Malaysia, and Singapore lead in tourist arrivals while there are many travellers from other neighbouring Asian countries. Thailand is expecting around 1.5 million travellers monthly in the last quarter of the year.
