The 36th Annual Bali Arts Festival

There’s no denying it, Bali is an island full of color and culture, and there is a time when its color and culture shines the brightest and that is the time of the annual Bali Arts Festival. With the motto “Tourism should be for Bali instead of Bali for tourism” the Bali Arts Festival is held every year in a month long of events around the island. So if you’re holidaying at Bali Spa resorts, such as the prestigious COMO Shambhala Estate, Bali; during June to July the festival is a must attend as you can get a high dose of Bali’s dazzling culture and some great memories at the same time!

Held from the 13th of June to the 11th of July under the theme of “Jagaditha: Strengthening the Welfare of Society”, Bali Arts Festival 2015 had a stunning lineup of events ranging from creative handicrafts exhibitions, dance dramas, Bali Modern theatre, Photography Workshops, culinary festivals, and musical performances. The event kicked off with a vibrant parade around the Bajra Sandhi monument in Denpasar that featured cultural performers from around the island.
