Have you ever witnessed a self-taught artist with a natural flair for creativity portrayed in the breathtakingly amazing artwork? Chathuranga Biyagama, a cubism palette knife artist in Sri Lanka held the exhibition ‘The Rain’ on 2nd November 2018 at Lionel Wendt Art Centre, Colombo. This amazing artist was internationally recognized from the age of 15 for his numerous creations done using the palette knife. The key objective of this exhibition was to present the artist’s internationally recognized artistic creations to the art lovers in Sri Lanka who are not aware of his creations. Those who were spending time at many banquet halls in Colombo close to the venue, such as Ramada Colombo were able to witness this art exhibition from 09:00 am to 08:00 pm. The artistic journey of this talented artist was vividly portrayed in the impressive collection of paintings.
