Tour of Oman 2015 – the 6th consecutive cycling race

The 6th edition of the Oman Tour was held recently from 17th to 25th February 2015. The race consists of 6 stages and covered a distance of 837Km. Organized by the Municipality of Muscat, the final stage of the “Tour of Oman” started off in front of the Oman Air headquarters with 138 riders. However the winner of the finals was the Spaniard Rafael Vallas from the Lampre Merida. It took 21hr 09′ 31′ for him to finish the race. Those who missed out on witnessing the cycling event this year could plan ahead to attend the race next year and when looking for accommodation could consider staying at a oman hotel such as the rated Oman Hotels chain which consists of properties like Al Falaj hotel and Ruwi Hotel that is located in the vicinity of the capital.
