UAE airports brace for 5 million passengers — Navigating a Massive Influx
Dubai’s UAE airports prepared for a significant surge in passenger traffic as the peak travel season commenced on June 23 and extended into early July. It is projected that approximately five million travellers will pass through the nation’s airports during this period, as reported by Al Khaleej Newspaper, based on data from airports and carriers operating in the country.
Abu Dhabi alone saw a significant influx of travellers, with over 900,000 passengers expected to pass through the airport up to July 7th. Sharjah International Airport took proactive steps to handle the anticipated surge in travel during the upcoming peak summer season. The airport prioritised passenger safety by implementing stringent measures and protocols. Visitors in the Emirates enjoyed a premier one-bedroom suite at a property such as Oaks Liwa Heights during their tour of the esteemed city.
