The Maldives was among the Travel Red Listed countries of the United Kingdom for some time due to the COVID 19 status that prevailed in the country with a more infectious wave. The UK travel authorities have now decided to remove the Maldives from this list. Other countries that were also removed from this list include Turkey and Pakistan.
Following this decision, those who travel to the Maldives and come back to the UK will not have to undergo a quarantine period of 10 days.
