Unveiling the Splendors of Laguna Phuket: LAGUNA PHUKET TRIATHLON

The famous Laguna Phuket triathlon took place on November 19th, at the iconic Laguna Phuket destination race course. Highlighted as one of the “World’s Greatest Tri Swims” by 220 Triathlon Magazine (UK) and securing the fifth position on the “10 Best Triathlons in the World” list by Let’s Do This (UK) in 2020, the Laguna Phuket Triathlon continued to make waves in the global triathlon community in 2023.

Athletes had the challenging, yet awe-inspiring task of swimming in the Andaman Sea and the lagoon, followed by a demanding bike course that weaves through the enchanting Phuket countryside and local villages, culminating with a challenging ascent over the majestic Naithon hills. The run course encapsulates the entirety of the Laguna Phuket destination, leading participants to a climactic finish at the iconic Laguna Grove. Participants arrived early to prepare for the event and were seen enjoying water sports in Phuket after the end of the triathlon while enjoying accommodation at properties such as SAii Laguna Phuket, a perfectly relaxing end following the impressive event.
