Vietnam Becomes One of the Safest Travel Destinations in Southeast Asia

As the country is politically stable and has no terrorist threats, the report clarifies that tourists can travel to Vietnam, hassle-free by ranking 163 countries according to their peacefulness. While Singapore is the only country in Southeast Asia to be branded as a ‘low risk’ destination, Vietnam has been ranked as a ‘moderate risk’ tourist destination among a few other countries such as Thailand, Laos, Philippines, Cambodia, and Indonesia.
