Windvibes Water Sports Tournament

This event surely had all water-sport lovers’ flock to the Long Bay beach, Providenciales. The water sports festival is on its 10th year and is perhaps the most enjoyable of all events in Turks & Caicos. The event is split into four main events as; kite boarding, stand up paddling, kayaking and swimming. Well that’s not all! Spectators too can get involved in the day’s fun for the event features DJ music, grilled delicacies and exciting games like tug of war, volleyball, log throwing and big foot working. This time the event was held on 5th July and saw holiday makers crowd the beach. The event is held in collaboration with Big Blue Unlimited – a local eco-tourism company who took pleasure in providing kayaks and other required equipment. Turks & Caicos alone provides the ideal getaway for holiday makers for the Island offers plenty of recreational opportunities along with good accommodation making every visitor feel welcome. Out of some of the luxury resorts in the Caribbean visitors found the Parrot Cay by COMO, Turks & Caicos to be of exceptional standard for its dining, suites and other facilities were all that every discerning traveller desired.

Nevertheless, if you couldn’t make it this time then maybe Windvibes should be on your list next year for it is too good an event to miss!
