WOW World of WearableArt Comes Down Under

The WOW World of WearableArt has arrived in Australia, offering visitors a chance to witness a fantastic world where art meets fashion to create something truly unique. Originated in New Zealand, the concept spawned some truly spectacular creations some of which will be showcased at the Perc Tucker Regional Gallery in Townsville from 29th May to 12th July, 2015. Visitors planning to take in this distinct touring exhibition and looking for Townsville holiday apartments near the venue can consider staying at Oaks Gateway on Palmer.

As part of the WOW World of WearableArt exhibition in Australia, visitors can see highlights from the WOW permanent collection which includes stunning works of art that can be worn. The exhibition will consist of three separate sections; once section will have 32 garments including award winning creations, an audio visual presentation about the WOW Awards Show and a workroom where one can design your own wearable art piece.
