10 New Restaurants to Visit in 2017, According to Asia’s 50 Best List – Best Delicacies of Asia

The region’s most prominent chefs, restaurateurs and food media gathered in Bangkok on the 21st of February for the much-awaited launch of the 2017 Asia’s 50 Best Restaurant list. The list of best restaurants, which was launched by the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants academy of voters, is an annual ranking of the best dining destinations in the region. Several accolades such as “Asia’s Best Restaurant” (Gaggan in Bangkok), “Asia’s Best Female Chef” and “Asia’s Best Pastry Chef” were awarded during the ceremony. The 2017 Asia’s 50 Best Restaurant list included several new restaurants in Silom, Bangkok such as The House on Sathorn, Le Du and L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon Bangkok. Those staying in this part of the city at places like Anantara Sathorn Bangkok Hotel can easily access these dining venues. Sühring is another dining venue in the Thai capital that was featured, while other new restaurants that made the list were Odette in Singapore, Florilège in Tokyo, Mume in Taipei, Ronin Hong Kong and Jade Dragon and The Tasting Room both of which are in Macau.
