Since September, Thailand has begun opening its doors to tourists with a special 90-day visa programme. According to a report by the Bangkok Post, tourists can now enter the country and book into Ao Nang beach hotels with a visa that can be extended to 270 days. A 14-day quarantine would be required at the hospital after a tourist arrives before they can move into their rooms at hotels the likes of Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort.
The government will ensure that visitors to the country undergo a COVID19 test after they arrive in the country and also go through a government-induced 14-day quarantine. Visitors can extend the visa twice over for a total of 270 days. They would need to apply through the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
