Bali Nusa Dua Festival – Bringing the World to Bali

The Indonesian Tourism Development Corporation organized and successfully completed the Bali Nusa Dua Festival, themed ‘Bring the World to Bali’ at the Peninsula Island from November 13th to 20th, 2016. The annual extravaganza featuring various local art events, sports action and a series of exhibitions was an immense success with hundreds of people taking part. The festival kicked off with the 10 kilometre Bali cultural run as well as the Nusa Dua Bali Open Tennis tournament. The 10 kilometre run saw participants running across beautiful settings such as immaculate gardens, pristine beaches as well as a Bali golf resort.

The formal opening of the fiesta was held under the patronage of Arief Yahya, Minister of Tourism and featured a parade that showcased Indonesian culture at its most vibrant. The rest of the series of events was an opportunity for culinary geniuses and food lovers alike as well as small and medium enterprises. After sunset, musicians entertained crowds on stage while body painting and many other fun activities were on offer during the day. If you are planning your next visit in November and wish to soak up some of the Bali Nusa Dua festivities, there are plenty of top class resorts available such as Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort.
