Bangkok Celebrates Innovation with the New Bridge Walk Event: A Moment of Pride

Bangkok unveiled its latest architectural marvel – a new bridge spanning the Chao Phraya River. To commemorate this feat, the city hosted a unique event: The New Bridge Walk Event. From February 23rd to 25th, 2024, between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., locals and tourists alike were invited to be among the first to walk across the bridge before it opened to traffic.

This event transcended the mere crossing of a structure; it celebrated a fusion of culture, innovation, and community spirit. The bridge, situated parallel to the iconic Rama 9 Bridge, offers stunning panoramic views of the river and the city skyline. The New Bridge Walk Event is a blend of modernity and tradition, allowing participants to capture the bridge’s grandeur, witness the sunset’s vibrant hues, and experience the serenity of the flowing river. This gathering marked more than just a bridge inauguration; it signified a shared moment of anticipation and joy, a pause before the bridge became an integral part of Bangkok’s daily rhythm. Those staying at a hotel in Bangkok City Centre the likes of Jono Bangkok Asok, were seen heading over to take part in the event as one with the community.
