Followed by the Hajj celebrations, the Maldives islands were noticeably filled with visitors from all over the world to celebrate Bodu Eid Festivals in August 2019. Although the celebrations are known to be Eid ul Aadha by the locals of the country, Bodu Eid is the name known by people world-wide and for most of them, the celebrations serve a religious pilgrimage purpose.
Many people from the Western countries visited the islands to witness the uncommon traditions and rituals held here. Visitors stayed at properties the likes of Huvafen Fushi Maldives that were filled with foreign guests who also had paid keen interests on the water sports and cultural cruises provided by them. In the Maldives, things to do in common include water adventures and spa therapies which are more into fun and excitement, and cultural events like these are quite unheard of by the world even though they bear importance as an attraction in tourism in greater extents.
