The globally famous Broadway hit Chicago is continuing its Australian run with performances in Melbourne that begun on 14th December 2019. The production will continue into the New Year and will be hosted at the Arts Centre Melbourne, close to Oaks on William. Those staying at a centrally located hotel or serviced apartment Melbourne has to offer can easily access the venue, to watch this Australian production of the Broadway musical that has garnered six Tony Awards.
This production of Chicago in Australia is produced by Suzanne Jones and John Frost. The key roles of Roxie Hart, Velma Kelly and Matron “Mama” Morton are being played by Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Alinta Chidzey and Casey Donovan respectively. Audiences will have the chance to also enjoy much-loved musical numbers such as Razzle Dazzle, Cell Block Tango, When You’re Good to Mama, Roxie and All That Jazz.
